One of the guiding principles of forest schools is that it is organised and run by qualified Forest School leaders. To deliver forest schools in your setting you will need a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner – you can either train up an existing member of staff or employee the services of a forest school practitioner.
For a list of level 3 practitioners in Staffordshire please check out the Find a Forest School Practitioner section on our website.
Those embarking on the Level Three Forest School Practitioner course will need to ensure that they have appropriate and adequate First Aid training. This training will need to be updated every three years and, as recommended by the HSE, refreshed on an annual basis. Many training providers can provide information on this.
